Small things add up to big things over time.

One thing that we should remember is the power of incremental changes. A small change made today can have a dramatic effect on our lives 5 to 10, or even 20 years from now, but the change may seem like a no big deal today. That is because we may not get any immediate gratification from making the change. For example, maybe today we decide from now on we're gonna exercise a few times a week and stop putting crap food into our body. Or maybe we're gonna read inspirational biographies or other positive material and educate ourselves for half an hour a day and watch a half our less of garbage TV (because the majority of what is on TV is garbage). Maybe we decide to get up a little earlier everyday and pray/meditate/visualize our ideal lives. Or, maybe we make a decision to stop a particular behavior today. Maybe we want to master a new skill like acting or art or something or learn a new language or play an insturment, and we work on that for 30 minutes to an hour everyday. This tiny change made today adds up to thousands of hours of positive/powerful time spent instead of time wasted. No need to waste time, were only here on earth for a short time.

Let's think about our decisions and how we spend our time today. How will this decision made today impact our lives years down the road. Also, if we decide to do nothing/make no positive changes in our lives today, how will this effect our lives years down the road. Something to think about.
